An appallingly badly organized model shoot led DH and I back to Stonewall Jackson’s derelict buildings to find at least “something” to photograph for the day out. They are very leery of photographers and cop cars in constant surveillance. I hear constantly from other photographers that they get chased off the site, not quite sure why we are so lucky….
And since I have Black and White on my brain, they are all post processed so….
I’ll take fusty old architecture over too made up models any-day…. so the day ended on a high note!

Playing with some different notions tonight, messing with double exposures and a bit more Photoshop magic.
I woke up this morning to a balmy 65F, the sun streaming through the kitchen window and as I made my first “cuppa” for the day, all I could see was the light shinning on my lovely Trader Joe’s Gerberas. They’ve long been a favoured flower of mine. I carried a bunch when I was married (remember Mum?), and their intricacy and color amazes me to this day – so out came the camera for a few happy snappies!
