Seems the Good Luck New Year’s meal of Black Eyed Peas and Collard Greens is not working too well so far…
There’s also another of my Iceland pix that has been reblogged over 2,000 times! I’m not sure whether to be happy or sad?… I guess it’s good as people like the images, and I love that…. but honestly it appears that you have NO control over images once they are posted on the internet…. they are OUT THERE….for better or for worse! All I can say is thank goodness it’s a nice image and folk like it ….. I wonder what people do with the images they “hit” on – do they just look at them? forward them? print them out? Watermarking is clearly a really really good idea…………..
Delightfully retro. great atmosphere! Happy New Year to all my lovely Blog readers…. It was a super sun shinny Carolina day for the first of the year and the outdoors beckoned! So off to Landsford Canal State Park for some fresh air and exercise. No birdies or landscape of particular note but there was lots of very funky fungus! A trip back in the near future is on the cards, and next time with a tripod!

Hard to believe that 2015 is barely a few breaths away….and it’s going to be a doozy!…. with workshops planned for Pacific Grove, CA, the UK, Donner Lake, CA, back to the UK, Phoenix, AZ and France ….and I haven’t even penciled in the FUN stuff yet! Thanks my good friends for being along for the ride 🙂

2015 is not off to a great start … my 74yr old Mother has broken her foot and is in plaster up to the wazoo for 6 weeks…. and there are less than lovely changes afoot in the Otero Household…..jpg)

When shooting a Wedding recently for some clients I had the chance to use this fabulous old General Store nearby as a location for some of the wedding shots. It was a fun and intriguing backdrop. So yesterday, on the way to the park DH and I stopped off so I could get some clean shots to PLAY with. The charming old store rather begged for a little painterly treatment … and so you have it!
