This year because of the lack of rain the fields are about half the height they were 12 months ago, but beautiful nonetheless… and definitely worth another early (6am) jump out of bed day to catch the wonderful morning light!  Karen Burns and I would like to thank all our wonderful students for participating in our workshop these past 4 days at Donner Lake, CA. We managed to shoot some fine images whilst out and about and painted up a storm in the Classroom! A super delicious part of the world indeed!  Well I’ve just returned to the chilly/snowy Carolinas after nearly two weeks away in SUNNY California – teaching Photography and Digital Painting worshops with Karen Burns and what a wonderful time we have had.
