Hi and welcome to Day 10 of our Black and White Magic Class ……..
The days seem to have flown by and we have covered quite a lot in terms of post processing as well a learning about our cameras and how we might begin to understand how to take better pictures.
The images you have been sharing on Facebook have been awesome and for those of you not sharing over there, please feel free to keep sharing your images with me privately!!
Since it’s the last day of “school”, I thought I would do what a lot of teachers do and turn from the drier side of post processing and have some FUN…..
So there are three creative projects for you to PLAY with.
Some of you may or may not be familiar with these techniques and even if you are, perhaps you can look at them with a different eye, imagining stark graphics translating to ORBS in Black and White, elements of nature to shift and twirl in our ORGANIC project and lastly, as opposed to sharp and crisp we will look at a VINTAGE GRAIN project.
Please enjoy your last day of Class and I look forward to seeing some of the creative compositions that I am sure you will concoct!!
On a business note:
The Class web pages and video tutorials will be available for 90 days following the end of today. No, I’m not a stickler and if you need more time, you are welcome to email me. Our FACEBOOK group will stay active for as long as you keep posting there and I will continue to offer comment and support as well.
Since this class has morphed considerably along the way in the last 10 days there is more content to add to the FINAL PDF so I will be sending this out to you in the next few days. It is basically a composite of the PDF’s you have received along the way, nothing that you cant read on the class paged or PDF’s that you already have it will just be compiled in a more convenient unit for you to refer back to.
And the last item of business is to remind you that you may not share class information, videos, pdf’s, photoshop files or any other material provided to you in this workshop in ANY shape or form via any method. I do peek at my web traffic stats have a pretty good idea if someone is being naughty!! It take a lot of effort to prepare a class such as this and you have paid good money for it. So should others. Please….. no friends sharing.!
And finally, I would like to thank you all for being part of this creative journey!!! It has been LOADS of fun!
