Horsing Around in Blowing Rock, NC

When it’s hot, humid and toasty in Charlotte, the best place to be is up in the mountains …. and next best to ballerinas, I DO love photographing horses!!  And particularly the challenge of capturing them on the move… which I happily did at the Blowing Rock Hunter’s and Jumper’s Show today.

I have figured out one thing though, it’s easier to photograph grey and white horses rather than the darker ones…. they don’t mess up your metering so much and it’s easier to get a decent overall exposure…. just in case you were thinking of which color horse to buy next……
