Painted Ladies of Carcassonne

On one of the days my friend Karen Burns and I were traipsing around Carcassonne, France, I spied these three women sitting happily at the side of the street chatting to each other.  The candid shot of community and friendship rather spoke to me.  It’s a nice photo but works pretty well as a painting too!  Painted with Corel Painter X3 and Photoshop CC.
