German Style

My mother lives barely a few minutes away from the picturesque town of Bernkastel-Kues on the Mosel River.

It’s quite the idyllic spot and  super super full of tourists during the warm sunny months.  Over the winter there was a town edict to repaint and primp all the old buildings in the village and so everything is looking pretty spiffy right now.  Bright and colorful indeed!!  I love, love, love this little town!!

... and as a footnote, I can’t even believe that I caught this shot, there must have been a nanosecond where the Town Square was not filled with people milling about!!
