A Super Sunset

I umm’ed and ahh’ed about going for yet another walk tonight around sunset – he weather was much cooler and it was tempting to stay inside.  I’m glad however that I didn’t.  Even though I did not take my tripod, I managed to shoot some hand held HDR shots of the evening sky with the village in silhouette. The vista literally morphed from blah to “blimey” in a matter of minutes!  With a veritable painter’s palette of colors rendered across the viewfinder’s canvas.

I really really love the time just after the sun sets and the sky is still warm and the cooler colors start lifting up through the atmosphere….
