What a wonder of eye candy. We had the chance to wander around the event as the models were painted, followed by the opportunity to shoot them sans crowd once all the painting was finished and then enjoyed the runway view ….
I must say that after my first experience at shooting “runway” my hat comes off to #2 son who does this kind of thing all the time for fashion …. it’s no mean feat to snap a good runway shot, maybe 1 out of 100 that turn out well….
Still there were some good moments to be saved and savoured!
I’m pretty pleased with how some of the shots worked out given that I neglected to pack my flash and just had to make the camera do all the work, ramping up the ISO settings and playing a bit with the post processing.
The first model was painted by one of the Living Art America judges and I don’t know her name.
The second model was painted by Amber Michael of NC, Model Victoria Singleton.
The third model was painted by Stepahnie Anderson of Georgia, Model Mark Seraphin
And the Dr Who girl was painted by Alisia Silliman of Colorado, Model Elizabeth Rose Poller – who doesn’t love a Tardis in the middle of their belly and a few Darleks hanging around their ankles?? Awesome stuff!
